Winning an appearance on a network television variety show launched Joe Atkinson's public career many years ago. The Baylor University and South¬western Baptist Theological Seminary graduate has worked with most of the country's best known evangelists and has preached and sung in some ofthe largest conventions, concerts and churches in America.
Beyond his ministry as an evangelist, Joe is a recording artist with a dozen albums to his credit. His latest International Angel Award winning release is "America, God Still Loves You" featuring patriotic and inspirational favorites. He has written four books - "The Last Revival", The Way The Christian Life Ought To Be", "Where Was God on 9/117" and his latest, "Islam, The Real Truth". He was producer-director of the evangelistic radio program "The Challenge" heard on stations overseas and throughout the United States for over fourteen years.
His travels have taken him across America from California to New York in forty¬eight states. Internationally, he has preached and sung in China, England, India, Scotland, Finland, Romania, Germany, Russia and the Ukraine. He has been featured in "Outstanding Men in America" and "Who's Who in America" . He and his wife Judy have amarried son, Jason and three grandchildren. In 1995, their home was touched by the home going of their twenty-one year old daughter Jennifer after a life-long illness. They are residents of Arlington, Texas, and members ofthe same local church for over forty-three years.
